Cottage Pie Cups Recipe



Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon oil
  • 1 Small onion, chopped
  • 1 Large carrot, grated
  • 500 gram Beef mince
  • 1 KNORR Savoury Mince Dry Cook-in-Sauce
  • 400 millilitre Water
  • 1 pinch Robertsons Salt and Pepper
  • ½ cup frozen peas
  • ½ cup Frozen corn
  • 1 Roll ready-made puff pastry
  • 3 cup Mashed potato
  • 100 millilitre grated Cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoon Melted Stork margarine

Instructions

  1. In a pan heat oil and fry onions.
  2. Add carrots and mince, cook until brown.
  3. Add KNORR Fresh Ideas Savoury Mince sachet contents and 400ml water.
  4. Simmer for 20 minutes.
  5. Stir in peas and corn, and season to taste.
  6. Simmer until thick and cool slightly.
  7. Cut pastry into 6 equal squares large enough to fit a 6 hole muffin pan.
  8. Spoon mixture into pastry cups.
  9. Top with mashed potato and cheese.
  10. Brush with margarine and bake in a preheated 200°C oven for 30 minutes.
